I'm not sure I'm with you on thinking Hitch isn't the right guy for this team. But another thought to consider: McConnell hired Hitch BEFORE Howson. If Howson really wanted Hitch gone, and I'm not sure he does, it seems like it would be a tough move to do considering the internal politics of removing Mr. Mac's guy....the one who "saved the franchise."

I think the people in Columbus love the phrase too! My first game at Nationwide I had random people saying that phrase just because I had a Jackets Jersey on. Thought it was kind of weird but it was nice to see people excited about the game. The person that thought up the cannon was a genius! Everytime I see a goal go in I am super stoked to hear the cannon. I haven't heard it in person but I am sure it is amazing.

I don't know anything about Dish Network (other than they have Versus and DirecTV doesn't...grumble, grumble), but DirecTV has a nice webpage with zip code-centric Center Ice listings. The channel numbers won't work for you, but perhaps the listing of available games might help.

I have been a season ticket holder since I moved back from St. Louis in 2006 (Yes I had Blues season tickets the year after the lockout when there were god awful). My seats until this year were in section 209 (2006) and 210 (2007-2008). I remember this starting back in 2006 (I believe that is when Leo came on board) from somewhere in section 205-207. It was a small group that eventually got bigger and bigger as the year went on. I for one dont know exactly who started it took half to the full first year for it to catch on.

Hello Anthony,

With the Jackets missing Hejda they are going to need a ton of offense to make up for it. Mase looked good against Calgary and they were a hungry team. Let's hope the Jackets pull through. I am sick of reading about how the 4-1 record is a fluke. Jackets need to kick some ass in there own rink. Have fun at the game! I wish I was there with you.
